- A candidate fills in the Application form and sends it together with the copies of the documents listed below and the 95 EUR Application fee.
- International Relations Office inspects your documents and sends you an official letter confirming your admission to the study programme of your choice.
- A candidate, after receiving the official confirmation letter, sends us the Tuition fee for the first year of studies.
- After receiving the fee, International Relations Office, prepares documents necessary for visa application and sends them to the student.
- After receiving the documents, the student applies for Lithuanian visa at the nearest Lithuanian Embassy. http://www.urm.lt/index.php?1704112028
- The Lithuanian Embassy initiates the visa issue procedure.
- After the period of typically 2 to 6 months, the Lithuanian Embassy informs student that his/her visa has been issued. (In case the visa application is rejected, IRO sends the Tuition fee back to the student.)
- A student picks up his/her visa and other documents necessary for his/her entrance to Lithuania.
Applying to Siauliai University
Application deadline - June 1.
The academic year starts in September.
To start studies in September the noneuropean applicants must submit all documents untill April 1 because of the visa procedure.
The enrolment is extended due to a few vacancies left.
Applications can not be processed unless they include all the following:
- Application form;
- Curriculum Vitae;
- Copy of the passport pages containing basic information about the student, and the related translation to English or Lithuanian;
- 4 Passport size photos;
- Copies of education certificates verifying that the student completed secondary school or equivalent, or that the student has successfully completed at least one year of studies at a higher education institution; and the related translation to English or Lithuanian. They have to be legalized at the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs where education was received.
- Bank statement (at least 3000 EUR);
- Application Fee of 95 EUR (non-refundable) (University account);
- Certificate of knowledge of English or Lithuanian.
Note: Legalized and notarized translations into English are required for all Education documents.
Accommodation for International Students
SU Students' dormitory is situated in the Centre of Šiauliai.
Prices in SU Students' Dormitory
The price for 1 person per 1 month: 52 EUR. Students live in a double room and share it with another student.
Internet access in the room: 30 EUR per semester.
For accommodation in a student dormitory you have to pay at the bank during the first 15 days upon your arrival.
