The Faculty of Natural Sciences was established in 2005 after the reorganization of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. In the faculty there are:

At present the faculty has 4 professors, 14 associate professors, and 438 students - 256 full-time and 182 extramural students.
Since June 1, 2001 the Faculty of Natural Sciences has extramural studies.
